Various disorders other than acne affect the pilosebaceous unit. Those discussed in this chapter include ectopic sebaceous glands, epidermoid cysts, trichilemmal cysts, steatocystoma multiplex and sebaceous gland tumours. Hidradenitis suppurativa is also described.
