The wrong diagnosis

Another reason behind a difficult problem is the presence of inflammatory lesions which are not acne. For example, over the past fifteen years this author's department has seen three acne patients who have shown some response but there has been a persistence of one or two nodules,  despite  therapy. Although no patient  complained of dental problems, a dental sinus  was the reason for the persistent nodule. An X-ray of the teeth  reveals the truth.
