An eruption of velvet warty benign growths and hyperpigmentation occurring in the skin of the axillae, neck, anogenitalarea, and groin; in adults, may be associated with internal malignancy, endocrine disorders, or obesity; a benign (juvenile)type occurs in children. Syn: keratosis nigricans.
